[ubuntu] 14.04 KVM-Spice Windows 7 Guest 2 monitors

I am converting my Dell XPS 14Z from a dual-boot system to a pure Ubuntu system running Windows 7 with KVM and Spice. I am using Virtual Machine Manager to manage it all. I have been able to get almost all the way with this. The one thing missing is getting the guest to recognize 2 monitors (laptop monitor + HDMI connected flatscreen).

Using Virtual Machine Manager I have installed Video: Model QXL, RAM 64MB, Head 1
and Display: Type Spice, Address 127.0.0.1, Port 5900, TLS port automatically allocated, Password (null), Keymap: Auto

When in Windows I access Display/Screen Resolution through the control panel. Only one monitor is detected and it is identified as Generic Non-PnP Monitor on Standard VGA Graphics adapter.

So, the mystery (for me) is how do I get Windows to detect and use my 2 monitors. It is my understanding that Spice should allow me to do this.

Thank you for any suggestions
