[ubuntu] vmlinuz for booting from vhd

I want to modify GRUB for mounting a virtual hard disk file at boot time and load the system from it. I've found some instructions, but doesn't worked for me. I'm running 12.10, 64 bit. Any help??? Thanks! ;) :p
