[ubuntu_studio] "Virtual Network Device" error, initially opening VMware Player

I'm not sure what's going on... I've installed VMware Player and VMware Workstation on Ubuntu Linux many times for many different people. I've never encountered this error. Has anyone else encountered this error? Any suggestions?

If it matters, I'm running Ubuntu Studio 12.04 LTS 64-bit. Thanks.
