[ubuntu] Tried some things, still can't get iPod touch 4g to be recognized in Win 7.

I've downloaded the 2 things which I read was needed to have USB support, have added my user to the vboxusers group, have tried reinstalling iTunes, tried manually locating and installing the driver (usbaapl I think) from the driver properties in the Device Manager; still can't get my iPod touch 4g to be recognized properly. If it's any help, here are some images.










To be honest iPod syncing is the only thing I'll use Windows 7 for. If there's another way to do syncing in Ubuntu, please help me out. I've tried using gtkpod, rhythmbox, banshee. None has worked.
