Hi guys,
I recently inherited a MacBook pro from my lab to do my work on, and although my instinct was to just install Ubuntu; I decided to keep OS X around for some iOS development later on in the line - as such I have an Ubuntu virtual machine running inside of VirtualBox in FullScreen mode which I basically use as my OS on the machine.
To save on screen real-estate I usually autohide the launcher and set the sensitivity to quite high. Inside this VM, however, the launcher simply refuses to show up appropriately. The VM is otherwise quite nippy as I've given it quite a lot of resources from the host.
Any tips? The screen resolution on the old MacBook Pros is only 1280 x 800 so I'm a bit stuck for space if I show the launcher permanently.
