Hi guys, the past week ive been trying to find a solution as to the best way to route all VMware traffic through tor.
I even went to the extent of running whonix in virtualbox and running VMWare within the Whonix workstation in order to route it all (Nested virtualization). Sadly this didnt work and virtualbox would just restart upon launching the VM inside it, possibly a RAM problem but i cant imagine running VMware within Virtualbox would be that easy even if RAM wasnt a matter.
Other routes i tried were converting the VMWare image to VB and the Whonix VB image to VMware, both were buggy as hell so i stopped going down that path,
then i tried directly routing traffic with privoxy through tor but am pretty sure i messed up the config,
So now im returning to ubuntu forums in search of wisdom and precise instruction, ive hit a brick wall.
Any suggestions/solutions anyone has to this please contribute, ive literally run out of ideas but will carry on trying
