How to login into my Ubuntu Server

Hi,

I installed Ubuntu Server in Parallels 10 for Mac, the installation went fine, but when I double click the virtual machine and click the start button it sends me to an empty black screen. Any idea how can I login into the server?

I'm expecting a prompt for my login credential or something. Sorry but I'm new to Servers, that's why I'm installing it to play around with it.
