I have my Ubuntu Desktop and Documents saved to a Win 7 virtual machine. I have guest additions installed. But I can't run any .exe file from my shared folders in win 7 I also can't copy any of them to my win 7 folders and run them from there. I cant change the permissions of any of the exes in win 7 either. I have studied this for 2 days and searched everywhere with no luck. I never see the devices menu either and have tried everything on that issue. Please help the only reason I want to run win 7 in VB is to install these programs. I have tried the VB from the web page and from synaptic. Same issue either way.
