Uninstall VMware Player

So i went through the uninstall of the VMware Workstation 11 and got that out...

but the player and the network editor are still in my list of programs in the Menu....

I tried the other post that was named the same as this and tried what it had listed... but no dice...

i tried right clicking on it in the menu and going to uninstall but it asks for a password and then says "This menu item is not associated to any package. Do you want to remove it from the menu anyway?"

i click yes

nothing....

does the same thing on the Network editor.
