[ubuntu] Ubuntu 15.04: Wireless/Ethernet not working in VmWare Player environment

Hi guys,

I am using Ubuntu 15.04 desktop version installed in VmWare Workstation environment. Somehow the internet (ethernet/wi-fi) is not working. I checked for the solutions in the forum, but all in vain.

When I click on the network, it says "Ethernet Networks disconnected" even though the Laptop is connected on Ethernet and Wi-Fi. The adapter for VM in laptop settings is also enabled.

Please help!!
