Does Virtualbox 5.0 Need Guest Additions?

Hi All,

I've been Googling about this issue, and thought I'd post here for possible solutions.

I'm running 14.04, 64-bit, and on a fresh install, wanted to install Virtualbox 5.0. Normally, I could install Guest Additions from the VB menu. However, this is not an option. I've tried this in Terminal, but it keeps reverting me back to an older version of VB. I can add Extensions via the VB site download.

Question: Is the old VB Guest Additions ISO needed with version 5.0? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
