To send shutdown signal virtualbox ubuntu server

Hello
when you are sending the signal off:
vboxmanage.exe controlvm UbuntuServer acpipowerbutton
It appears a message saying if I want to stop,
restart or shut down the computer, but the machine is not turned off.

what can I do?
