[ubuntu] Unable to Update Virtualbox to 5.0_5.0.6 from 5.0_5.0.4

I recently replaced Windows 10 with Ubuntu15.10 on my HP Envy-15 notebook as Windows 10 consistently developed "bad permission" errors and would fail to open folders, and then not even create folders (despite running all Microsoft "trouble shooters" and computer checks from HP/BIOS) . I installed Virtualbox from the software centre, apparently 15.0_5.0.4, but it looses its setting to open virtual machines in full screen mode after shutting it down and restarting. The Ubuntu icons appear at the side and top of the screen and I need to press ctrl and F twice to get the full screen. Question 1 is how can this be fixed? I have the same behaviour in a HP Pavilion dv6 notebook with Ubuntu 15.10 (this one dual boots to Mint Cinnamon and I might see if this OS does the same with Virtualbox later). I thought that perhaps installing the latest Virtualbox-5.0_5.0.6-103037~Ubuntu~trusty_amd64.deb file might help but this won.t install. Both gdebi and the software centre complain "dependency not satisfied" and that it "breaks virtualbox-5.0". What does this mean and how can I circumvent this? Also, would this update help anyway or would it even be wise to do so. I note the Virtualbox was extremely flaky and unreliable in Windows 10 and presented extreme impossibilities when I tried to remove it - no show in "add-remove programs" and unremovable using other applications claiming to achieve this and also blocking any attempt to upgrade :(. Is Virtualbox not up to the play with Ubuntu 15.10 - it states up to 15.04). Should I ditch Ubuntu 15.10 in preference with LTS Ubuntu 15.04, or wait until Ubuntu 16.04 comes out next year; although perhaps Virtualbox will remain dragging the chain I guess :(.
