Hello:) I'd like to take a shot at video pass through through on KVM, using a Radeon HD6450. I haven't come across a lot of info about my video identical cards, except one (hope it's still useful). It says I need to blacklist the video card I'm going to use (is this right?), but doesn't explain much about how to blacklist an identical card. I have no onboard video, so how do I this?
Also... is this a good idea running UbuntuStudio's real-time kernel? I've been looking around, and I see a lot of posts about patching kernels. I also saw one post that said it shouldn't apply for Ubuntu 14.04. So I'm a little confused, and worried about breaking my system. I don't have any experience with KVM, but I did manage to get it running windows yesterday (with some permissions, and error problems [that changed messages today] I still don't understand). Virtual Manager will still open, but I'm not sure how to solve my error. Please advise:)
