[ubuntu] .fat files

hi everybody,
i have a raw .fat compressed file (backup.fat)
all what i need is to decompress it or mount it
to restore it into my android tablet without dd or restoring method , just copy files from mounted .fat

i used a wined 7zip but it didn't work as expected.
