So, I listen to a podcast called Linux action show. A few episodes ago there was a huge section about virtualisation. They mentioned something called proxmox which I think is something to manage your containers. Other management software came up but there are two remarks that have stuck with me and I just cant find any good explanations or articles.
1: Plex mediaserver is a good program to run in a container.
Why is it? I have a desktop that runs plexmediaserver and plexconnect. Plexconnect use a dns service so if I want a dns server i would have to move them both in a container. But unless you need a different network for services or run two of a kind, why put it in a container?
2: There are better ways now to run windows then Virtual Machines. What other alternatives are there? I have a win10 virtualbox for work, and if there's a more efficient way, please tell me!
Forgive my ignorance.
