I am having a problem which does not seem to be directly addressed by any thread. In my recent installation of lubuntu, the mount command doesn't seem to be aware of the vboxsf type. I understand that this is part of Guest Additions, which I have tried to install several times. So far as I can tell, nothing happens. I do not even get a file in /var/log.
The system is lubuntu 12.10, and Vbox 4.2.4. There must be something simple I am missing.
