Is there any repository with QEMU v2.8.0 (or even v2.7.0)?

I'd need to take advantage of a more updated version of QEMU-KVM.
I am currently using Jacob's Virtualization PPA under Ubuntu server 16.04.
I really need v2.7+ and, if possible, would avoid to recompile it.

Any hint?
