Hey All,
I am in the process of moving from Windows 10 to Ubuntu! Unfortunately I am still in college so I am trying to make everything work seamlessly with a new setup so that I can complete assignments/projects, etc. This means I have to move over some vmware files to try and use with VirtualBox.
The current issue I am having right now is that when I run the .vmdk (Red Hat-64bit) that I brought over from windows. (These files worked in vmware flawlessly and provided by the instructor). When used I receive the following message after some lengthy hangtime...
Warning: /dev/centos/root does not exist
Warning: /devcentos/swap does not exist
Warning: /dev/mapper/centos-root does not exist
Generating "/run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt"
Entering emergency mode. Exit the shell to continue.
Thank you for your time and please go easy on me, im a newbie! ;)
