[ubuntu] 16.04 After upgrade from 14.04 KVM fails libvirt-bin will not start

After a 14.04 to 16.04 upgrade my KVM installation is not working. libvirt-bin fails to start.

Many hours of searching on the net resulted in nothing useful.

This is what I get after a sudo apt -get dist-upgrade

So at present I cannot run any of my KVM Machines.
