adding loopback adapter to virtualbox and disabling ubuntu tcp/ip stack

Found this guide for windows, but doing the same in ubuntu is proving difficult

ipconfig shows a loopback, but one does not show in virtualbox on ubuntu, only enp2s0.

im trying to disable tcp ip on the host, bridge to loopback, and have pfsense recieve ip from router

ideas?
