[ubuntu] Ubuntu 12.04 | Video choppy | Voices sound deep

Hello.

I am currently running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on Virtual Box.

I am experiencing two issues:

1. The actual operating system seems to functioning fine, and as it should; however: I am having some issues with video and sound. When I try to watch a youtube video (for example), the video does load; however, the video plays extremely slowly and is choppy. The audio doesn't seem to match the video either.

2. On some videos, voices are played in a very low register (a deep voice). Far lower then it is.

I am having this issue on both: Chromium and Firefox.
