What is the correct ubuntu os version to run on Nutanix

Hi,

I had a VMware and my Ubuntu Desktop 18.04 run without any glitch.Then I moe them on Nutanix. First I had issue for screen resolution and fix that with modifying /etc/default/grub. Then I am not sure if during this time my nutanix been upgraded. But after 8 months running my Ubuntu Desktop 18.04 needed some update. Last time I update my Ubuntu Desktop 18.04 then problems start to arise. First I couldnt enter my password. It stuck on login loop. I forced my ubuntu using recovery root to change password. But once the password was set this time there was no internet. I try to modified nameserver to 8.8.8.8 and got the internet very very slow. To setup Ubuntu on Vmware is much esiaer than nutanix. I am sure my nutnix knoledge is basic one. My questions are;
1) What is the correct Ubuntu Desktop OS version (for minimal installation) on Nutanix?
2) What is the best way to install Ubuntu Desktop 18.04 minimal on Nutanix?
3) How to correct networking problem after installing Ubuntu Desktop on Nutanix?
4) What is the correct steps to set netwoking for Ubuntu Desktop on Nutanix?
