[ubuntu] Changing Default Virtualbox Network Settings

Hello,

I would like to change the Virtualbox network settings so that I can setup a virtual network using 10.0.0.0/24 addresses. I want to assign static IP addresses in the network. However, I still want the virtual machines to be able to access the Internet.

Is this something that can be done with Virtualbox or do I need to use a different VM application such as KVM?. If it can be done with Virtualbox, how do I do it?
