[ubuntu] Terminal Hangs - VMWare Player

Hi Guys, i hope this is the correct part of the forum to post this.

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS within VMWare Player (Workstation 8.0) on my Win7 computer. I'm having issues with terminal freezing up on me when I leave the VM for say 10 minutes, the VM itself will continue to work fine but any open terminal sessions will be froze and I have to quit them and load back up again.

Any help would be greatful.
