I wanted to get some performance support.
Most of my machines in the office are Intel i5 or Athlon II with minium 8gbs of ram. (Some machines have a SSD)
Ubuntu seems to run fine, but the Virtualization of Windows 7 through Virtual Box seems to be slow.
My staff doesn't need to use the Linux side of things, So I can disable most of everything on the Ubuntu side
( I want to know what I can disable to increase overall system performance)
I wanted to know if anyone has recommended settings for Ubuntu and Virtual Box so that Windows 7 will run near native speeds.
I've searched almost everywhere and no one really has an up to date test settings.
It will take some time before we can stop using Windows 7 and turn to full Ubuntu so for the time being I must make the VBox as fast as possible.
