Problem with Windows 7 VM and Ubuntu as host OS

I have a Windows 7 VM that ran on top of a Windows 7 host OS. I wiped that Windows 7 host OS and now my host OS is Ubuntu. I download vmware player and tried to start my Windows 7 VM, but it gets the BSOD every time it starts. It worked fine with the other host OS.


Any ideas what's wrong?
