[xubuntu] Converting Parallels to KVM, and onto an LVM?

Hi,

I'm converting a Parallels (mac) VM of Windows to KVM. I've figured the kvm-img command and it's about 12% done right now, but I'm wondering how to get that image (if it works) into an LVM volume?

And what's the ideal format for KVM? I'm using qcow2 right now, but can convert to something else instead.
