Any issues with Compiz or Conky in Vmware player 5.0.1 build-894247

Hello,
I'm currently having an issue with both Compiz not initiating and the scaling of Conky in Ubuntu 13.04 using Vmware player 5.0.1. Does anyone know if either of these are supported in this version of Vmware player?
