When I have a Virtual Machine going using mobile broadband the VM 'thinks' it has a wired connection and is online and can surf the Internet.
Using the wireless connection, which requires authentication from a proxy server, the VM cannot surf the Internet.
How can I fix this?
I have had a lot of trouble using this ISA proxy server. It permits surfing the Internet, but needed special configuration using cntml to get it to allow upgrading on the bare metal installation. Also, though I can download an MP3 file from the Internet on the bare metal installation, I cannot stream the MP3 file as audio, as the ISA server requires authentication for that.
Would it be quite difficult to get the VMs to be able to use update on the wireless connection too?
