Me thinks it would be a good idea to use another distro that uses minimum resources as a host so as to have more RAM available for VM Guest OS.
I could install Lubuntu or lxde and have 'em as an option when I log in in order to free up more RAM for the VB. Is this a good idea or will I still have to designate the same amount of RAM to the Host OS in VirtualBox?
Does VB work with lubuntu or lxde to start with?
Right now I have 6 GiB. VM recommends I set 2 GiB for host and max 4 GiB for Guest OS.
Thanks for ur input-:KS-
